10 weeks old

Somehow, Baby Z  is already 10 weeks old.

We spent Saturday afternoon at my mom's house. I thought that would be a good time to get a nice picture of me, my mom and my sons. Ha! So instead we followed Baby Z's lead and gave our best pouty faces...

We did end up with a cute enough one of Grams and the boys...

Visit from Grandie G

Grandie G (Troy's mom) came for a short visit last week.  Here she is checking out her newest grandbaby...

On Saturday we went to one of our favorite parks.  LittleBigMan has been wanting a kite, so Troy pulled out a REAL kite.  Here they are flying it...

And of course LittleBigMan wanted to do it himself (or to atleast look like he was doing it himself)...

He and Daddy had lots of fun chasing each other and rolling down the hill...

He's happy as can be when having fun outdoors...

Not surprisingly, LittleBigMan was not too happy to have to leave the park...

It was a beautiful day and I'm glad we enjoyed the afternoon by spending time outside!

9 weeks old

Yesterday, Baby Z turned 9 weeks old...


As chunky as he is, it should come as no surprise that at his 2 month check-up he weighed in at 13 lbs. and 12 oz.  He is 22" long.


And here he is chillin' with his brother...

8 weeks old

Yesterday, Baby Z turned 8 weeks old.  He is growing and changing so much.  He is getting chubbier and cuter by the second.  He loves to coo and smile at us and even sounds like he's trying to laugh at times.  Here is a our sweet little boy...

7 weeks old

It's hard for me to believe, but Baby Z is 7 weeks old today.

At the park

Yesterday evening we spent some time at the park.  Aside from it being so windy, it was a lovely day.  LittleBigMan and Troy spent lots of time playing in the sand...

And Baby Z snuggled close to me in the Moby wrap while I enjoyed the sunshine and fresh air

6 weeks old

Today Baby Z is 6 weeks old.  Yesterday he weighed in at a whopping 12 lbs. & 2 oz. (around the 95th percentile) and is 21 1/4" long (about the 50th percentile).  He is growing so fast!

Weekend visitors & celebrations

Some of my family came to visit this past weekend.  It was really nice getting to see them & for them to meet Baby Z!  While here, we celebrated LittleBigMan turning 3 with a birthday party & the arrival of Baby Z with a baby shower.  My lovely cousin, Kasey, hosted the baby shower at her home (where we also celebrated LittleBigMan's birthday).  Here are some photos from the day...
