First steps

Baby A took his first steps today!!! Granny G was tickled pink to get to see him do this.

Here is a video we took later in the day. He is quite wobbly, but well on his way to walking now.

And... Baby A is getting his two front top teeth. (He hasn't had any new teeth pop in for about 6 months now) Things sure are changing quickly with our little boy!

Fun filled five days

Granny G and Great Great Aunt Dorothy came to visit us for FIVE days. We had lots of fun!!!

Newfound fun

Baby A decided quite suddenly that he loves the walker my cousin let us borrow. He is using it to walk all around the house. I can't help but wonder if this means he'll be walking soon?

Ooey gooey mess!

13 month old + ability to feed self = HUGE MESS

He didn't start out looking too bad...

But things quickly went downhill...

How sweet, he wanted to share. ((No thanks!!!))

And of course, then it was bath time!

Faux Father's Day

I thought this past Sunday was Father's Day. I got a present for Troy (from Baby A, of course). We gave it to him on Saturday because I knew Sunday would be busy with other things.

Anyway... we gave him his present. Took a few photos.

And then I look down at a piece of paper on our coffee table. It says something about giving such-and-such gift to Dad on Father's Day, June 21st.

Wow. I felt like a complete idiot. Sometimes I know without a shadow of a doubt that both pregnancy and subsequent motherhood truly do diminish a woman's brain power. Atleast, that's my excuse!

Swimming with Grams

Before Grams left to go home today, we went swimming. Baby A and Grams had a blast (as did I).

Hiking with Grams

My mom (Grams) is here visiting us this weekend. We decided to take her on a hike to our favorite spot.

Leaving our house...

The weather changed many times during our hike. It started out cloudy and drizzly, then it was sunny and warm and then it looked like a storm was really headed our way.

Some views on the hike...

Tea at Camelot

On Saturday we went to a tea party. One of our neighbors has a really neat house built in 1910 that looks a bit like a castle (hence the name Camelot?).

We had a great time there. We met some more neighbors and enjoyed some delicious food and tea. AND we were able to explore a little bit of the 40 acres attached to Camelot. Wow, was it beautiful!!!
