Random stuff

Not much new so I thought I would share some random stuff from the last few days.

Silly sleeper...
Yesterday, Baby A woke up from his nap looking like this...

I guess he only wanted his shirt half way on. Maybe he was trying to start a new fad?

Messy muncher...

Maybe he was making spaghetti art?

Cookie crazy

Today he broke into a box of cookies and proceeded to eat 2 at once. Caught red handed!!!

18 months old

A few days ago Baby A turned 18 months old. He is getting more and more fun... and more and more mischievous.

Fun/funny stuff...
says "ank ewe" (thank you)
says "uh ewe" (love you)
says "ewe, poo poo"
when asked how old he is, he holds up 1 finger but says "two"
loves to brush his teeth
loves to wash his hands
loves to tickle people while saying tickle, tickle
just started saying "aw, baby" when he gives you a hug
calls everyone mama, though will say the right name when prompted
loves to talk on his play phone
says "oh man!"
taking a cue from his cousin Parker, he loves airplanes and makes an airplane-ish noise
says "broom broom" (vroom vroom) a lot

Mischievous stuff...
climbs on everything
gets into EVERYTHING
wants to drink out of regular cups and will tip them onto the floor given the chance
squeals when he's ticked off
throws himself on the floor when he's ticked off
he's bossy toward the dogs
sometimes sticks his finger at you and says "no" when told to do something
finds things he's not supposed to have and takes off running with them
is a little piggy and begs for your food (I would love to eat a meal in peace!)

Sometimes I look at him and want to pull my hair out, but usually I look at him with total and utter amazement. He makes us laugh many times a day which usually makes up for the not so good stuff he does.

Craft Fair

If you read my other blog, So Simply Stephanie, then you already know that I participated in a craft fair yesterday. If not, well here goes...

We woke up early yesterday morning and the weather was nice and the sky was beautiful.

Baby A was looking like quite the cutie.

I made 58 item/sets. Many of the things I had for sale were in sets, so I would say I probably had over90 individual items. I had for sale: diapers and wipes cases, crayon rolls, bibs, burp cloths, receiving blankets, wash cloths, dolls, and aprons and pot holders. Lots of stuff! Me at my table...

We were there almost 4 hours before I sold anything. Total sales for the day was a meager 5. The highlight of the day was definitely when my cousin/BFF and her sweet little baby girl arrived.

I am disappointed about how the craft fair went, but you live and learn.

Lately

What have we been up to lately?

Troy came down with what we think was the flu on Saturday. He started taking Oscillococcinum right away and he has pretty much fully recovered! I had heard good things about that homeopathic remedy, but had yet to try it.

Baby A
is in love with hats, planes and climbing on things.

I am SUPER busy sewing the last few items for a craft fair this weekend.

Troy likes his new job, except for the long drive.

The dogs are doing great. Maggie loves roaming around. Chloe loves being inside.

The weather has been absolutely gorgeous here lately. I think it will change soon, but I've been enjoying it while it lasts.

We love our home and will be celebrating 1 year in our house on the 31st of this month.

My guys...

Brownie batter

Nothing much new here. Just thought I would share Baby A's favorite moment from today... licking the spoon used to stir the brownie mix.

Best pals

I am babysitting my BFF's son and daughter this evening. Now that Baby A is older, he and cousin Parker play together a lot. Sometimes they play nicely and other times... well, not so much. This evening has gone pretty well so far. It is amazing the amount of energy contained in two little toddlers! To release some of that energy I took the boys outside while Baby Sadie took a nap. The boys had a lot of fun running around and playing.

Playing outside with limbs (that came down in the recent winter storm)

In awe of his older cousin

Enjoying being outside

Cousins and friends

And let's not forget sweet little Sadie

Wacky weather

The weather has been a bit wacky (but beautiful) the last two days.

All day yesterday...

I believe we had a high of around 12 degrees.

This morning (notice NO snow on the trees at higher elevation)...

It was around 20 degrees.

This afternoon around 1 p.m. - taking a walk- all the snow had melted...

It was around 45 degrees.

We actually had nicer weather up at our elevation than Colorado Springs had. Pretty unusual!

Nothing new

There isn't much new to report here... so I thought I would share a picture from today.

The moon is between the frosty trees. It snowed yesterday, but the sun is out in full force today so I imagine it will all melt quickly.
