That's all?!?!

A's 6 month checkup with his pediatrician was today.
* He weighs 19 lbs. and 13 oz. - to which I said "that's all?" He is still quite big for his age (bigger than 90% of babies his age), but I was really expecting more.
* He is 26 1/2 inches tall. That is right at average for his age.

Basically, this means he is short and stout... like a teapot, I guess. LOL

On a side note... Baby A should be moving into his new home next Tuesday. We got an early closing date. YAY!!! He will be seeing lots of snow his first winter.

Happy Half Birthday

Today marks 6 months since the birth of our big boy. I can hardly believe it!

Baby A woke up this morning saying Da Da Dadadadada. He has repeated it many times today. It's his new favorite sound.

He's grown a bit, don't you think? He has a check-up with the pediatrician on Thursday. I can't wait to see how much he weighs. I'm guessing 20 lbs!!!

World Wide Fluffy Bum

We are participating in something neat. It's called World Wide Fluffy Bum (aka Global Fluffy Bum). We joined in with a group of cloth diapering moms from across the globe. One mama is coordinating this. A cover is sent from home to home... the parent takes pics and documents where the cover goes. So far, the cover has been to California, Washington, New Mexico, Arizona, and now Colorado.

We decided to take the cover on a journey to Palmer Park. It was a beautiful fall day.

A's newest love is standing. He loves to stand (with lots of support of course) for long periods of time. Pikes Peak is in the background
