Tubtime and Troublemaker
Last week Baby A received a package from his Uncle Jeff and Tia Olga. He LOVES his new bath toys!!! He got to try them out today...

Future yum yums!
Earlier this week, Baby A and I (ok, not so much Baby A) started our veggie garden. We have a mini greenhouse to get the seedlings going. So far, we've planted peas, green beans, spinach, cucumbers, carrots, and tomatoes.
We will be planting some herbs soon. When we lived in Louisiana we were able to grow just about anything and the growing season was very long. I hope we are as fortunate here. Our sunroom will serve as a greenhouse and hopefully help out our growing efforts considerably.

Naptime
Baby A has a new naptime routine. It is going pretty well so far. I snapped a few pics this morning of him napping. Notice the covers pushed off of him. One sock on, one sock off. He is kind of sleeping on his side and kind of sleeping on his stomach. He probably has drool running out of his mouth. What a cute little mess he is!

Commando crawling
Baby A has begun doing a variation of crawling... picture a soldier crawling under barbed wire. He started doing this a couple of days ago.

Bad hair day
Yesterday, Baby A had a bad hair day... either that or he was wanting his name changed to Alfalfa. Which would actually work, because then he'd still be Baby A.

Grams came to visit us yesterday

We had some very neat weather yesterday. The weather changed a lot during the 20 minute drive from our house to the swimming pool (for swim lessons).
Above the clouds (at the beginning of our drive near our house)

In the clouds (about half way down the mountain)

Below the clouds (down in town)

Also, it was about 20 degrees WARMER at our house than it was in town. Very unusual, but neat!!!

Take a hike
Baby A, Chloe and I took a hike yesterday. Here are some pics:

Baby A loves it back there. He even fell asleep toward the end of our hike.

(Yes, the carrier is pink. Not my fave color, but I got it at a GREAT price)

Beautiful trees

Chloe girl doesn't seem to mind the cold too much

Pikes Peak - we have to climb on top of a big rock to get this view

So cute...
This little boy is so cute and sweet and happy (most of the time)... .croppedjpg.jpg)
His 2nd tooth broke the surface yesterday. I tried to get a picture. Trying to pry open the mouth of an 8 month old baby is no easy feat. Well, getting his mouth open was easy... but moving his tongue out of the way is the tough part. Hehehe. The is the best pic we could get

Can you tell how happy he was to have this picture taken?

Sledding!!!
It is beautiful outside. We received quite a bit of nice soft powdery snow Saturday evening through Sunday. Troy and I decided to take Baby A snow sledding yesterday.

Sneaky
Baby A is not crawling yet... but that doesn't stop him from getting around the house. A few days ago I left him on the floor to play with his toys. It was eerily quiet so I looked to where I left him and he wasn't there. He wasn't anywhere to be seen. Then I heard a funny noise and saw that he has rolled himself down the hallway. So sneaky!
He gave me this look when I asked him what he thought he was doing:

We have lots of fun together. I usually snap lots of pics of Baby A with daddy, but here a few cute ones of A and myself.
He looks like he's pondering something (evil, perhaps?):
